Genetic analysis made fast, precise and cost-effective

Enterprise-grade genetic diagnosis platforms for organizations of any size.

Customized solutions

Cartagenia offers project-based and tailor-made solutions for building, integrating, and configuring enterprise-grade genetic diagnosis platforms in organizations of any size. Building on the extensive BENCH platform, we can develop fully customized and supported software systems that meet a hospital’s current needs in next-generation genetic diagnosis, no matter what underlying genetic testing platform is being used.

We assure an easy carry-over of both knowledge contained in and processes supported by Cartagenia’s solutions. Both our expertise in running custom software development and integration projects, and the extensive BENCH platform code base we have at our disposal, make Cartagenia an ideal and trustworthy partner in running infrastructure projects with the future in mind.

Our solutions offer

  • Standardized data formats
  • Intuitive user interfaces
  • Easily extendable APIs
  • Workflow support
  • State-of-the-art security

Enterprise integration

Based on our previous expertise in running implementation and integration projects, we have developed two powerful integration modules that can be configured and deployed in no time.

The best way to understand the power of BENCH is to see it.

We would be happy to answer all your questions in a custom online presentation.

Integration module details

  • BENCH Communication Module (BCM)

BCM is a stand-alone software module that provides support for back-end database integrations with hospital or laboratory information management systems. This module can be used to synchronize patient identifiers, and phenotype and genotype information, and to automate the necessary communication flows between the BENCH platform and other systems.

  • Interface Integration Module (IIM)

IIM allows alternative user interfaces to be hooked up with the BENCH platform through an extensive yet easy-to-use API. This front-end integration module avoids that third-party applications need to interact directly with the BENCH platform databases, makes communication between systems more robust, and decouples evolution of the BENCH platform from evolution of other systems and the IIM.
